Conductive Gel Refill · Five 15 ml Tubes
Holtrow Pulse Gel™
The same gel that ships with Pulse. Five tubes, about five months.
- A pea-sized drop per pad — clear, colourless, wipes clean
- Bridges skin and electrode so the signal reaches the skin evenly
- Non-irritating, pH 5.5–8.0 · non-corrosive, kind to the electrodes
- One tube lasts about a month at the four-minute routine
Why gel
The band only works as well as its contact.
Dry skin is a poor conductor. A thin layer of conductive gel fills the gap between the electrode and the skin so the signal spreads evenly instead of gathering at a few points — a steadier session, and a more comfortable one. Every Pulse ships with a tube. This is the refill.
Conducts
A conductive medium between skin and electrode — the whole job of the gel, and the reason the routine starts with a drop.
Gentle
Non-irritating, pH 5.5–8.0. Clear and colourless, free of bubbles and grit. Wipes off skin with a damp cloth.
Kind to the hardware
Non-corrosive and easy to clean, so the electrodes stay the way they came out of the box.
How much you need
Five tubes. About five months.
A pea-sized drop on each pad, once or twice a day, works out to roughly one tube a month — the same maths behind the gel supply in the Calm Kit and the Complete Ritual.
One tube, one month
Five tubes carry the four-minute routine from now to next season without a reorder.
How to apply
A drop, a press, a wipe.
Apply
Squeeze a pea-sized drop onto each electrode pad. More isn't better — it just spreads.
Place
Rest the band at the base of your neck and start the session as usual.
Wipe
Afterwards, wipe the pads with a damp cloth and cap the tube. Store it cool and dry.

Composition
- CarbomerThe gelling polymer — gives the gel its body so it stays where it's put.
- Glycerol · Propylene glycolHumectants — keep the gel from drying out during a session.
- TriethanolamineNeutralises the carbomer and sets the pH.
Sound velocity, acoustic impedance and attenuation are the rated parameters of a medical ultrasound couplant — this is the same class of gel used under ultrasound probes.

Better together
Made for Pulse. Bundled in every kit.
Every Pulse ships with a tube. The Calm Kit adds two more — a 3-month supply — and the Complete Ritual adds four. If the device is what's missing, start there.

Good to know
Questions, answered
Is this the same gel that came with my Pulse?
Yes — the same 15 ml tube of clear conductive gel that ships in the box. Nothing reformulated, nothing swapped.
How much do I use, and how long does a tube last?
A pea-sized drop on each electrode pad is enough. At the usual routine — a four-minute session once or twice a day — one tube lasts about a month, so five tubes carry you roughly five months.
Can I use Pulse without gel?
Pulse is designed to be used with conductive gel. On dry skin the contact is uneven, so the pulses feel sharper and less consistent. A drop per pad keeps the session smooth.
Will it irritate skin?
The gel is non-irritating and sits at pH 5.5–8.0; it's clear, colourless and free of grit or bubbles. It's for external use only — keep it out of eyes and off broken skin, and stop using it if you notice a reaction.
Does it stain or leave residue?
It wipes clean from skin and from the electrodes with a damp cloth. Wipe the pads after each session so the contact surfaces stay clean.
Can I use another conductive gel?
Any electrode-grade conductive gel will conduct. We stock this one because it's the gel that ships with Pulse: non-corrosive to the electrodes, rated to medical ultrasound-couplant specifications, and sized so a tube covers about a month.
How should I store it?
Capped, in a cool, dry place. Skip the hot car and the sunny windowsill.
What about shipping & returns?
Orders over $150 ship free — gel added to a device order rides along. Every order is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee: if the gel isn't right for your routine, email us within 30 days for a refund.
